I'd say this was made by Glen Campbell simply because of the date 1954

later expanding into a wide range of tea sets

This little speckled blue bowl is delightful in both design and glaze. She does have a short hairline (photo) and some glaze missing which is atypical for the blues. When tapped she is very sound. Her price reflects the hairline and glaze loss. (Normally a bowl like this would fetch around the $70 mark).
