In summer the foliage changes to green with pale white variegation. Ikandi prefers sun partial shade in well drained soil. Similar to Higasayama more pink color in Spring. Perhaps 10 tall by 4 5 wide in 10 years. Vareigation develops more strongly in older plants (ie. is not always full when plants are young). Hardy to 10 degrees F. USDA zone 6.
