這件蝴蝶擺飾約為20世紀晚期作品，以透明水晶玻璃製成。蝶翼由多片切割玻璃組成，在光線下呈現清澈而細碎的折射；細長金屬觸鬚與底部小座則讓整件物品在輕盈之中保有穩定的姿態。

作品以模塑材質製成，再經手工上色。臉部表情、頭髮、衣褶、木作工具與桌面紋理皆有細部刻畫，尤其是木料與衣著表面的質感處理，使這件擺飾不只是一般人物小像，而帶有一種工坊勞動場景的生活感。
