Sergeant Stubby Plush Archaeology a boy and his dogDescription Made exclusively for the National WWI Museum & Memorial. The mascot of the 102nd Infantry, 26th Yankee Division, Stubby fought alongside American soldiers in France and participated in 17 battles. He warned his fellow soldiers of gas attacks, located wounded soldiers, and even helped catch an enemy spy. Stubby died in 1926. His final resting place is the National Museum of American History.
