This spider was described in 1942 by two  Argentinian woman arachnologist Rita Delia Schiapelli and Berta Sofía Gerschman

This reddish-maroon colored spider should be kept like others in the genus

Im working out a better locality for it at this time. My guess is they get about 5 inches as adults and look like a terrestrial species. The only pic that I have seen they appear to be a grey spider with a fuzzy appearance. Any other info that I can gather will be updated here. For now your guess is as good as mine.
