including minor surface scratches and marks

Schlechter had to sew the leather around the molded plywood shell by hand

but otherwise the table remains in very good vintage condition

This piece does show minor wear as expected from previous use

Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP was and still is an important architectural firm globally. SOM produced thousands of their own furniture designs from the 1950s 1980s, and this is a classic example. The table features a highly polished stainless steel base, and has a round, high quality white marble top.
