Prison Notebook Language:Arabic Wear it proudly to honorIn September 1975, Sudanese modernist Ibrahim El Salahi was wrongfully accused of involvement in an anti government coup and imprisoned without trial for six months in Khartoums notorious Kober Prison. During the weeks of house arrest that followed his release, he created his Prison Notebook a sketchbook of pen and ink drawings, prose, and poetry that both recorded and transcended his experience behind bars. This publication presents a facsimile of
