Noticing this we quickly begun our trek back to the trailhead but not quick enough as some precipitation started to fall including a little snow

I headed to the Colorado State Capitol for a tour over the lunch hour

As some of the smoke from Colorado wildfires started to drift into the Denver area during the early Fall I headed out to capture the sunset from City Park

this is a reminder of winter just being around the corner

As the sun went down I headed to the front of the ship and took some long exposures as we sailed along Vancouver Island

Treadwell Pump House in the Winter Building Noticing this we quickly begunOne winter while in Juneau I headed out to Treadwell on a Sunday afternoon. Treadwell is an old mining area on Douglas Island across from downtown Juneau. I started off by exploring the area away from the Gastineau Channel and then headed back towards the parking lot along the water. With the Taku winds blowing that day, but less than in the prior few days, it was nice to have the wind at my back. After passing the pump house, I turned around to look
