Paprika Series Vase tapio wirkkala Swedish-Danish ceramic artist and designerLarge vase from the 'Paprika' Series designed made by Anna Lisa Thomson, lead designer for Upsala Ekeby. Paprika, her best known series from 1948, features an unglazed textured surface contrasted with lancet shaped, white glazed leaves. A vintage original; hallmark on bottom. Made in Sweden, circa late 1940's.
