The lamp is adjustable using two 12v bulbs (on either end of shade) and made of a heavy plastic coated base, khaki metal shade, and brass arm. The lamp comes apart in 3 pieces. There is a high and low setting. The arm and shade angles are adjustable. Also, shade direction can be switched around to point inward or outward. There are also 2 holes on the base for mounting on the wall
