Sunrise in Denver from Sloans Lake Size:20"x30" Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe

Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe is a much visited and photographed location

With my recent travels to Juneau I have been asked what is it like

Using a small aperture

as I thought the wave of the stadium lighting would be interesting with the sun positioned over the stadium

but will do so in a few weeks for the season bringing more traffic to the road then what I saw on this day

Sunrise in Denver from Sloans Lake Size:20"x30" Emerald Bay in Lake TahoeIn the fall of 2012 I went to Sloans Lake to photograph at sunrise since it is the time of year the sun will rise directly over the city. As some of our stormy and overcast conditions have moved on I headed to the same spot in late September this year as well to capture a similar image at sunrise. Once again I waited for the sun to rise and little and positioned it at the Four Seasons which is the middle of the skyline from this perspective.
