with plenty of candied-lemon and orange character and touches of hay

The 2017 California Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of mango

but now better known as the iconic wine grape

The nose shows mainly peach and passion fruit. A bit too sweet on the palate and I find that almost suppresses the remainder of the taste profile. Some citrus, peach, passion fruit and pineapple but not as expressive as I typically expect from the varietal.
