Domaine de la Romanee-Conti (DRC) La Tache Monopole Grand Cru 2017 [NET] JULY4 It's the solo project ofLa Tche is DRC's monopole and the largest of their Grand Crus, generally the most opulent and structured of the domaine's reds. The 2017 reading is a particularly graceful one: this was a cooler, more transparent vintage in Burgundy, and La Tche showed up paler than usual, almost translucent, leading with floral high notes, rose, leather, peat smoke, and racy red berry fruit.
