Afternoon in Scoresby Sound Size:20"x30" Growing up outside of Chicago

Growing up outside of Chicago there were many times we would take the elevated train into the city

These winds are quite common at the sand dunes based on the location of the park in the Alamosa valley and is also how they initially formed

With some time prior to sunset I headed over to the area to photograph the tree

This image is a close up of some of that rock and the variations in the color which can be found

At the park some of the tennis courts were resurfaced earlier in the fall from the traditional green courts which are common in most parks

As some clouds shielded the sun for a little while I started photographing the other direction which also included icebergs but also the land which encompasses Greenland.
