Many moons ago, when I was nineteen backpacking in Europe, I stayed with a family in Germany who had a highland cow in their quaint farm home. It was love at first sight when I first saw that fluffy puppy cow with his floppy ears and shaggy brown coat. Ever since I have wanted to paint a highland cow. "Highland Horns" is that painting, the first since I had the
